It is smart for a man to learn from another man's experience. 

My name is Dick Lewis and I live in Prescott, Arizona.  I’m retired after a long and somewhat successful career in Information Technogogy. After retiring I like so many more retirees felt that because I have been so fortunate in life and especially having chose the right career for myself, I should somehow give back.  I chose Career Coaching as a way to accomplish this.  I believe that it is smart to learn from other peoples experiences.  I have created several video presentations on this web site that will help anyone seeking to start a career in IT.  In my 60 years in IT I was fortunate to have held several of the  many positions in this discipline.  Programmer, Analyst, Project Manager, Hardware designer, Software Developer and Program Manager to name a few. In reference to the content of these videos I would recommend the following:   

Career Planning:  For anyone planning any career.  This contains information on resume writing, interview preparation and job searching. I was myself on both sides of the interview table many times giving me a good understanding of the process and what one should or should not do. 

My Career:  For anyone planning to go into IT.  Even if you have not fully made up your mind on doing this, I present what it was like for me including lessons on what worked and what did not work.  Again included here are some suggestions regarding how to be successful. 

Starting a Business:  Having founded two software development business’s I give an IT’s perspective on starting and running a software house.
